Volvo XC40 Roof Box Buyers Guide 2023

Volvo XC40 Roof Box Buyers Featured

Let’s talk about  Volvo XC40 Roof Box!

The Volvo XC40 might be a fantastic car-, however, it falls short when it comes to trunk space. The XC40 only has a cargo volume of 20.7 cu ft. which is quite low considering it does not have third-row seats. There are many ways you can increase your car’s cargo space, from roof boxes to carrier bags.

Carrier bags are an affordable alternative, but they are not durable. Roof boxes, on the other hand, are made from high-quality plastic and can last a lifetime.  However, roof boxes can be expensive, as such, you need to be well informed before settling for a given product.

Nonetheless, being spoilt for choice is not always a good thing as you can end up being more confused. To avoid buying the wrong product, we have selected several roof boxes that we believe will fit perfectly on your XC40.

Conclusion

Every roof box is compatible with specific roof bars e.g. square or round bars. If you buy a box that does not fit on your roof rack system, you might be forced to do a lot of post-sale modifications. That being said, we have recommended roof boxes that are versatile enough to fit on most factory and after-sale bars.

Additionally, all the above products are easy to install and unmount. Therefore, you can easily switch them from your Volvo XC40 to another car if the need arises.
